This is a story not for the faint of heart, where the boundaries of reality fade behind an image of the mirrored self in the sleepy hamlet of Willow Creek. There lays Dannsatalla Hall, an old speakeasy turned mansion, centric of the folklore that surrounds the little town. Some way ghosts walk its corridors at night, and that the paintings follow you throughout the rooms, where the air grows cold and the crow gather in droves. On the thirtieth anniversary of the Fire of 1927, which caused the deaths of many in the town, still mourned, a Post Courier named Durant is given a package to deliver to Ann Reanna of Dannsatalla Hall, the old woman who dwells in the estate. No parcel ever came in the thirty years since the Great Fire, the death of Henry Reanna, Ann’s husband, and the woman’s subsequent seclusion from society. There, Durant treads into a world he was never prepared to walk.
